How to drive and park your vehicle the Feng Shui way

a feng shui expert, reports on several ways to improve energy flow around one's vehicle to combat road rage. Some of
his suggestions include:- Don't park your car facing your residence, as cars are "predators" which can create feelings of unease among the building’s inhabitants.
- Remove clutter within the vehicle for better chi flow.
- Tie a blue ribbon to the rearview mirror, splash salt water in the interior (though probably not on any cloth seats) and keep a bottle of water in the car. These practices are said to encourage a clearer state of mind.

Didn't one of the Japanese mfrs just have a concept with a feng shui inspired interior? And, since much of feng shui depends on a compass, once I funked out my mystic ride, wouldn't I have to always drive in the same direction for it to be effective? Hmmm.

Would excessive flatulence help or hinder funky shoes (feng shui)? Because I don't think keeping a bottle of water in my truck will do anything either except leak all over my seats.

As much as Feng Shui is hype, a lot of people do worse things to their cars. For example, letting it "warm up" by idling it for a minutes whenever they start it (completely unnecessary) and the Einsteins who think "overdrive" on an automatic is only for the highway, so they switch it off for the city (stupid).

I just hope my insurance company doesn't charge me a higher premium for refusing to practice feng shui in my car. I'd hate to imagine what a feng shui practitioner thinks of all the crumpled papers and other stuff cluttering up the interior.

i have no idea why americans park with their heads in with parking lot with 90 degree parking spaces. their cars must have great turning radius or something. isn't it much safer and easier to park with heads out?

1. Red cars attact bad state trooper karma.
2. Bench seats promote virility. As master John McCrea states 'I need my baby next to me, not way over in a bucket seat.'
3. To avoid negative ju-ju, try sprinking 15 gallons of gasoline into the gas tank every 300 miles or so, depending on your vehicle's 'needs'.
4. Avoid parking directly on top of any houshold pets. It really puts a damper on their chi flow.

My car must be a loner. It's chi flows best on curving, twisty roads when no other cars are in sight.
And it achieves balance through proper modulation of the clutch and accelerator pedals.
